Congratulations to Orpita whose paper was just published in Sensors and Actuators. In this paper she presents a self-biased magnetoelectric composite device for wireless power transfer (WPT). The device is 12 X 5 X 1 mm and can generate 1 mW at 180 kHz from an excitation of 200 microTesla. The device does not require any external DC magnetic field bias as most magnetoelectric WPT receivers do.
